Red Sea Crossing Truth 2

The Exodus: Egypt to The Crossing

Compiled by Flying Kiwi ©

By no means am I stating that what I have researched and share on this website is the absolute truth concerning The Children of Israel and The Exodus, rather it is from objectively looking at evidence and facts in a logical, practical but at the same time Biblical perspective.

There are many who will attempt to dispute Nuweiba as the true Crossing site. They try to justify their stance with "facts" that either conflict with scripture or true spiritual awareness.

This website is a collection of over 2 years of research and information gathered and used in an online/email "debate" with a well known "Biblical Archaeology" webmaster who believes The Children of Israel somehow crossed at The Strait of Tiran.

Since those days and when this site was launched there have been many Biblical Explorers who have dived, sent down ROV's, documented, photographed and videoed a huge amount of evidence.

The Exodus: Egypt to The Crossing

The Exodus happened of that there is no doubt. To find the route and crossing site all archaeological info, local historical knowledge and culture must be looked at with spiritual discernment, faith & belief, and by applying God's Biblical information with practicality and logic

Proposed route: Rameses to Succoth (Modern day Suez), collect Joseph's bones.  Succoth to Etham (Modern day El Thamad).  Etham to Pi-Hahiroth (Modern day Nuweiba Beach).

Crossing during the night and day to modern day Saudi Arabia. As Moses had travelled this route previously and new it well, more later regarding this.

The real Mount Sinai (Horeb) is Jebel Al Lawz in Saudi Arabia, the Biblical Kadesh Barnea is the now known city of Petra.  See this page ,  and this one is fantastic

I propose these collection points for water in their journey, after camping at Succoth, was the Oasis at Qalet el-Nakhl (120km ~ 2nd night time rest), then at El Thamed (Edge of "Etham"), and Furtajah Springs 15km from Nuweiba beach. There are also springs at the beach. (more on the following pages)

Exodus 8 v 25   And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.

26 And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

27 We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.

28  And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away

Moses only asked Pharaoh to let The Children of Israel go out into the desert to pray, for 3 days. Exodus 5 v 1 - 3 as per instructed by God in Exodus 3 v 18

Exodus 3 v 18 “The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God'. ".

Many ask - Why didn't God just take them out of Egypt and via the fastest route to The Promised Land (The Way of The Philistines)?

God gives us the answer in;

Exodus 3 v 17 "And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when see war, and they return to Egypt:"  ("repent" - regret, lament, grieve (for), bemoan)
