Information on the climbs
Referring to the profile above.... At 20km, there is a small pair of lumps on the descent to Faygate. Neither of them are steep or of any significance but after crossing the large dual carriageway roundabout on the A264 at 25km you have the climb up Tower Road to Colgate. Not too steep but quite long.

At 35km there are a few dangerous descents followed by difficult short, steep climbs around Ardingly reservoirs. The roads are narrow with some sharp turn on descents and gravel/mud. An area for particular care!

From 50  to 62 kms there is plenty of climbing but most of it is quite gentle and relatively easy to spin up... the top is on Bushy Willowsfollowed by a few miles of beautiful descent before a short kick up to Withyam.

From Hartfield to Holtye golf course there is a selection of sapping undulations. Again, nothing particularly steep or serious but tired legs may disagree.

The final two climbs are Hornecourt Hill which has one short but steep section and Philanthropic Road, less steep but more sapping because it's so close to the end!
