Redeemer Lutheran Church offers a wide-ranging Youth and Family ministry program designed to engage children and their families in the life of the church and support them in a life of faith at home.
There are currently three youth groups in the church: POPs (People of Promise) for grades 4-6, Alpha League for grades 7 and 8, and Luther League for high school youth grades 9-12.
Youth are encouraged to serve both the congregation and the community. Within the congregation the youth host an Easter Brunch, participate in spring and fall workdays and serve as worship assistants. In the community, opportunities include working with Family Promise, Faith Kitchen, Midnight Run, Lutheran World Relief, Roxbury Social Services and Your Grandmother's Cupboard.
Parents are the best role models for their children. Living a life of faith and raising young people of faith can be a daunting task. Click here for links to several free resources recommended to make this easier.
Redeemer offers Sunday School for ages 3 through high school. Visit the Sunday School page for more information.
There are many opportunities to support Redeemer's Youth Program. The youth sell ShopRite giftcards each week. Five percent of the face value of each card supports the youth program. There is also an annual rummage sale in June and a very lively silent/live auction and dinner after Easter.
