Redeemer Lutheran Church offers a wide-ranging Youth and Family ministry program designed to engage children and their families in the life of the church and support them in a life of faith at home.

2018 ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston!
Redeemer sent 23 youth and 4 chaperones to gather with 30,000 other Lutheran youth June 27 to July 1, 2018. This was the largest group ever sent from Redeemer!  Click here for information on the Gathering, or contact to find out how you can help support the group.

A large portion of the cost to attend was raised by the group. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Fellowship Groups
There are expectations and guidelines for participation. Please click here for a copy of the Covenant

Youth are encouraged to serve both the congregation and the community.  Within the congregation the youth participate in spring and fall workdays and serve as worship assistants. In the community, opportunities include working with Family Promise, Faith Kitchen, Lutheran World Relief, Roxbury Social Services, Souper Bowl of Caring and Your Grandmother's Cupboard.

Parents are the best role models for their children.  Living a life of faith and raising young people of faith can be a daunting task.  Click here for links to several free resources recommended to make this easier.

Redeemer offers Sunday School for ages 3 through high school.  Visit the Sunday School page for more information.

There are many opportunities to support Redeemer's Youth Program.  The youth sell ShopRite gift cards each week. Five percent of the face value of each card supports the youth program.   There is also a very lively silent/live auction and dinner in May. For other fund raising activities please see the Fund Raising Page.
