Advent Prayer and Bible Study

  • 11:30 – fellowship and brown bag lunch
  • 12 noon – “Breaking the Silence”. Prayers, music and meditation.
  • 12:30 – Study the Biblical verses used by George Frederick Handel as the texts for the Advent section of his amazing and ever popular Oratorio, “The Messiah.” Led by Pastor Newbold. Pick up study materials in the fellowship hall

Advent Prayer for Peace and Healing. 

Finding joy at the holidays can sometimes be difficult due to stress, feelings of loss and separation.  Gather  for prayer, with song and scripture.  Share your concerns, receive the laying on of hands for healing, or simply to light a candle as a visible sign of your prayer.

Come and explore the ancient way of reading, and listening to, the Word Lectio Divina —led by Pastor Kildea.  This is not a “bible study.”  No biblical knowledge or experience is required.  The only requirement: your willingness to listen.
