What is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual direction is a process by which a trained director seeks to help others discern and understand God’s work in that person’s life through a process of prayer, conversation, and reflection. Direction can take place individually or in a group setting.
What do I do if I'm interested in individual spiritual direction?
1. Email or call one of the directors listed on the spiritual directors page and let them know you are interested in meeting to talk about spiritual direction at Redeemer.
2. You are encouraged to meet with more than one director to find the best fit.
3. Once you establish a relationship with a director, you will work out the fee together. The church will also have a scholarship fund available for those who need financial assistance with direction.
What is group spiritual direction?
Another way of receiving direction is in a group context. In group spiritual direction, you can learn how to share the deepest parts of yourself with God and others, as well as having the opportunity to hear others share with you in a guided conversation.
