Beer Bread

3 cups sifted flour

1/4 cup sugar

3 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

12 oz. beer

1/4 cup butter, melted


Sift all dry ingredients into a medium size bowl. Add beer and stir until well combined. Place dough into a 9x5 loaf pan that has been sprayed lightly with cooking spray. Pour melted butter over the dough. Bake at 375° for one hour. Do not preheat oven. Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
