"Royal Lunch" Milk Crackers

2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 egg

Preheat oven to 400F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment and set aside. In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Using a pastry cutter, or your fingers, work the butter in until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Add cream and egg then mix to form a dough. Knead 25-30 times. Shape into a disc, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll dough out to 1/8-inch thick. Cut dough using a 3" round cookie cutter and place on prepared cookie sheet. Prick each dough round with a ford. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
