WELCOME TO THE 2017 Marching Panther Band!

Congratulations and WELCOME! You have chosen to become a member of the largest, strongest student organization at Rappahannock County High School!!! As a member of the RCHS Panther Band you will have some of the most memorable moments of your high school career. Through hard work and dedication you will grow and become an even greater musician as a member of the Superior Rated Panther Band family!

NEW this year, all forms will be completed online. This will both save paper and create efficiency.

In order for the Band Boosters to support students and the RCHS Band, students are expected to pay band dues of $130. These dues include student show shirt, marching shoes, and are used to put on events, clean uniforms, pay our drill writer and music arranger, pay for competition registrations, and to purchase items for students. Our marching show is custom written to fit our group, which requires an earlier deposit/commitment date. Scholarship applications available, contact band office.

Band Dues payment Schedule as follows: May 8th(Deposit) $45 July 10- $45 Aug 10- $40

Make all payments to “RCHS BB”- Please indicate “Band Dues- Student Name”

Big, Loud, Live! On August 10, we will take our first trip as a group to see the Drum Corps International Finals live streamed on a movie screen!! It’s a great opportunity to see the “World Series” of marching band, since unfortunately the live shows are pretty far away. The Cost is $35. This includes student ticket and dinner at Mandarin in Warrenton on the way to the Cobb Theatre in Chantilly. Money($35) must be paid to Mr. Guira by July 17, so tickets can be purchased before they are sold out!

What to do next! :

  1. Go to https://goo.gl/forms/xwtoUDKnfpDkhqAn1(link on band website) and complete the information sheet/medical form and contract. (This replaces the many the paper forms previously used.) If necessary paper versions are available, ask Mr. Guira or Mr. Raciborski. Please complete by May 8

  2. Pay Band Dues by turning them into Mr. Guira. DEPOSIT DUE MAY 8.

  3. Bring $35 to Mr. Guira for Big, Loud Live! Due NO Later than July 17

  4. Make sure Band Camp Dates are on your calendar!!!!(next page) You can sync the band calendar to your phone by visiting the Band Website! (link below)
