Das Wohltemperierte SPUNK
Das Wohltemperierte SPUNK is a 12-year project inspired by J.S. Bach's Das Wohltemperierte Klavier. Each year SPUNK plays a new tone from the well-tempered chromatic scale. The tone / concert takes place in different venues in and around Oslo, Norway.
The date and time for the concert move every year. The first concert was 20/1/2001 at 8:01 p.m., the next 20/2/2002 8:02 p.m., and so on until the project ends 20.12.2012. All the concerts are recorded and will be presented on a CD in 2012.
The sequence of tones follows the famous twelve-tone row of Anton Webern's string quartet opus 28, the one that starts with the notes B-A-C-H.
