Version 5 is live!
Apple Watch support, Native excel multisheet spreadsheet export, New multiple choices field and lots of bug fixes.
As always, please let me know of any issues and any enhancements you'd like to see.

Changing Plugin

Apologies to those ipad  users  having difficulty switching plugins in the setup menu. I will release a fix for this shortly. In the meantime it is also possible to access and change plugins in the file manager at the top of the setup screen.

I am just in the final stages of putting together version 5. This will contain:
Bug fixes. 
Excel xlsx output with multi page spreadsheets.
Apple watch support - this will display the last 10 entries on the watch and give full editing capability including hierarchical menus and text input via speech recognition and handwriting recognition.

v4.7.2 - Known issue

There is a continuing issue for a small number of users where there is a crash when opening the 'Export' menu. The bug has been traced and I am issuing a fix. Thank you for those users who reported this. Please continue to report any further issues.

Apologies to iPad users for the bug within version 4.7 causing a crash when displaying some pop-up screens.

Released today. However there is a bug causing a crash when displaying pop up screens (eg help) in iPad only. Apologies to iPad users. I have released an emergency fix today.

This version is currently in review status with Apple. Expected release within a week.

For anaesthetists, this version will auto import iGaslog csv files if the name begins with 'iGaslog'
iGaslog plugin.
CSV import (tested with 6000 records).
Customisable summary table export.
Customiseable pivot tables.
File manager with iCloud drive integration.
File manager allows sharing of files with other apps and access on other devices.
New 'Wk' button displays recent records of past week.
Multiple bug fixes.

Universal Logbook v4.5 Released

NEW file manager allows management of all local files and passing files to other apps e.g. dropbox.
Multiple bug fixes.
iOS 8 compatibility.

iCloud drive is in the pipeline....

More bug fixes, iOS 8 compatibility and also new export choices including rtf output to allow export to a word processor compatible file. This should allow direct submission of the document into ePortfolios.
Hope to release this within the next few weeks.

Universal Logbook v4.1.1 for iOS

This version was released as bug fixes. However I am getting sporadic reports of a crash occurring when some users open the reports section of the setup menus. The bug is not reproducible and therefore almost impossible for me to track down. However reinstalling the app seems to correct it.
Remember to backup before reinstalling and email yourself the backup file. Your data should fill from iCloud.

I'll continue to investigate this issue. In the meantime the following knowledge base articles for Mac or for Windows explain how you can can opt-in to sending crash reports. This is extremely useful to me to help tracking this bug down.

Additionall, after plugging in and syncing with iTunes, Crash logs can be found in the following locations:
