We have access to Mathletics which is a great resource for learning while having fun.
Homework shouldn't take more than 25 minutes per night.
Reading homework will be sent home daily. This may be in the form of classroom readers, research or library books.
Children need to be reading to someone or reading with someone. When the text is more complicated we encourage reading with parents or care givers.
Basic facts for maths will be tested weekly and children are expected to be practicing these at home as well as during numeracy time at school.
Spelling lists will be sent home on Monday with the home learning book and testing will be on Friday.
