Playing Career

Paul Galvin has been on the all-Ireland winning side for Kerry on two occasions. Both wins were against Mayo. The first saw Kerry as comfortable winners in 2004 and the second saw a complete drubbing of the Mayo side in 2006. Paul Galvin was on the winning side for Kerry in the national football league for the same two years, 2004 and 2006. Galvin received an allstar in 2004 for his performances in Kerrys all-Ireland win. He is just as well known for his roughish behaviour as his unquestionable football ability. His competitive and aggressive playing style often spill over most notably in the 2006 quarter final when he got sent off for an altercation with Armagh water carrier John Toal, who was also sent off.
