Information
These monthly games offer a flexible format for playing rated chess games that is less demanding than weekend tournaments: There is no prize fund or entry fee, and the time commitment is adjustable, ranging from two hours for one game to seven hours to play all three games.

The games are always on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.

The game time control is 60 minutes with a 5-second delay.

A tournament director will be present as required by the US Chess Federation for rated games. Pairing will be at the tournament director's discretion with the main goal of creating competitive matchups, not the standard Swiss pairing.

There is no charge, but optional tip envelopes will be available to compensate the tournament director for their work.

US Chess Federation membership is required. You can become a member at their website.

Since we are just starting out we can use all the help that we can get in letting others know about these games. Please forward this website to your chess friends or print this flyer and pass it out at your club events. Thanks!
