Retired Associates of PSU
A membership organization for anyone 50 and older, presenting programs of intellectual stimulation and fellowship.
Imagine attending a recital by the lead cellist of the Oregon Symphony. How about students from the university's famed music department enacting a portion of their current offering? Or a geology professor telling us about this amazing state in which we live and play? Artists, political leaders, radio and television personalities from throughout the community share their knowledge.
We are sponsored by Portland State's tuition-free auditing program, the Senior Adult Learning Center (SALC).
Regular meetings of the Association are usually held on the the 1st and 2nd Thursdays from October through June. There are no scheduled meetings in September, December, June, July and August. The first Thursday of December we have a holiday luncheon. Changes of meeting dates are announced in the newsletter. For a meeting calendar, Click Here.
The presentations are held on campus in the Browsing Lounge (Room 238) Smith Memorial Student Union, 1825 SW Broadway. Two RAPSU meetings per year are held in Lincoln Hall in Room 326 (unless otherwise noted in your newsletter).
Here is an enlargement of the campus area.
