Current employment
I’m a post-doc at the Center for Research on Equality in Education (CREATE) at the University of Oslo. I received my PhD and did a post-doc at FAIR, Norwegian School of Economics/ Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods.
Research fields
I am a behavioral economist with a particular focus on human capital formation and preferences. I study what influences investment in human capital, from individuals’ educational choices to employers’ engagement in active labor market programs, and how people's preferences for reducing inequality depend on characteristics such as gender, age, and innate abilities.
My work is primarily empirical and combines experiments in controlled lab and field settings with rich administrative data from large, nationally representative samples. Through this approach, I aim to better understand the mechanisms that shape opportunities for skill development and contribute to reducing economic inequality.
