Research Theme Using Scholar Gogglar

A highly motivated economist with a comprehensive understanding of the application and practical implications of economic theories. My research-based experience in central banking and public sector consulting includes statistical modeling, time series forecasting, simulation, and welfare economic analysis. I have taught economics, mathematics, and statistics courses to graduate students and have presented research at institutions such as the Bank for International Settlements (ARN BIS 2023), SAARC Finance (2022), University of California, Davis, University of Kansas, Paris School of Economics, and Indian Statistical Institute.

Currently, I am a Senior Economist at the Department of Economic and Policy Research, Reserve Bank of India. I received my doctorate in Applied Mathematics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne in December 2012, under the supervision of Prof. Bernard Cornet. My previous roles include Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and the Big Data Analytics Center at Shiv Nadar University, India, and Researcher (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in the Management School at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). I completed my undergraduate degree (B.Math) at the Indian Statistical Institute and pursued an Erasmus Mundus Quantitative Economic Master's degree jointly from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and Bielefeld University.

My research focuses on policy-oriented analysis within applied macroeconomics, econometrics, and data science.

In my leisure time, I enjoy visualizing social networking data and finding patterns using modern machine learning techniques. I also enjoy traveling and sports, particularly running, and regularly participate in half and full marathons.
