ride on Saturday May 13th

Hi all, this weekend we have one of the best rides of the year.

This 200k brevet travels the length of the Annapolis Valley - twice.  the ride is entitled, "Coldbrook - Annapolis".  Link to the route is

Please print off the cue sheet and carry it with you, even if you use a GPS, in case the technology fails, the batteries never die on a sheet of paper.  There are lots of corners on this route.

We'll assemble at the Tim Horton's in Coldbrook, just off Exit 14 off Highway 101 past Kentville.  Departure time is 8AM, allow yourself time for a coffee before you start.

We'll ride southwest down the Annapolis Valley through Berwick and backroads to Nictaux and on to Annapolis Royal, where we'll grab a bite of lunch at Leo's Cafe in downtown Annapolis.  We then cross the causeway to the north side of the Annapolis River and follow backroads through Clarence to Middleton, Spa Springs, and Grafton, then back into Coldbrook.  This is one of the easiest 200's in our province and one of the most scenic.

Please let me know of your intention to participate by Friday afternoon so that I can prepare brevet cards for you.

For those who don't want to ride the full 200k, there's the option of going to Middleton and back (100km) or Bridgetown and back (150km).

Looking forward to a great ride on Saturday!
