A.4.6.Does Google offer web hosting?
Google doesn't currently offer any web hosting, but you still may be interested in Google Page Creator. Page Creator is a free online tool that makes it easy for anyone to create and publish useful, attractive web pages in just minutes. To check out it, just visit http://pages.google.com. For more information on how to use this product or to ask questions, you can check out our Help Center and Google Group.

A.4.7.Who is Google Page Creator for?
Google Pages service is probably meant for people who like to create personal pages about themselves and their hobbies. Some firms seem to have also created their own sites with Google Pages, but they might not be taken as seriously as companies who have their own web domains and their web site is created by a professional web designer. On the other hand, for example a small company might not need a professional looking web site anyway.

A.4.8.What about Google Pages and spam?
Because your Google Pages site has the same beginning as your Gmail account's beginning (as in YOURACCOUNT.googlepages.com and in YOURACCOUNT@gmail.com) spammers can easily harvest email addresses from Google Pages sites using automatic bots (as they can from other free web site services also where the site name is constructed from the email address). On the other hand, Gmail's spam filter does a fairly good job and you should use a free email address only for non-serious things other than your business or your job, because free email services can be more unpredictable and have more problems. Also, spam bots may find your email address from other sources such as from other web pages, discussion forums, and mailing lists. One way to try to avoid spam is that there should be a "Create a new site" link at the top of the Site Manager page, so you can create another site, which doesn't have the same beginning as your Gmail account.

A.4.9.How much does it cost to use Google Page Creator? Will you ever charge for this service?
Google Page Creator is entirely free. And Google claim that it doesn’t have any immediate plans to charge for it.

Nope. It is only available in English.

A.4.13.How soon will my pages be available on the web?

essential way for Google's automatic indexing algorithms to figure out which web sites are important, popular or interesting enough to get indexed by Google. You can find more info from Google's webmaster
pages and from various search engine optimization (SEO) pages:

Google is a fully automated search engine that uses software known as "spiders" to crawl the web on a regular basis and find sites to add to our index. In fact, the vast majority of sites listed in our results aren't manually submitted for inclusion, but found and added automatically when our spiders crawl the web. >> " So it is up to you to decide whether you want to submitted or not.
2. Verify your website with Google.  This is will not necessary get your website indexed but it would be nice to be able to use this tool.
3. Let people link back to you.

A.4.19.How do I submit my URL to Google?
Go to http://www.google.com/addurl/ and insert your website URL in the URL text box. You website name should look like http://YourLoginName.googlepages.com. Fill in the required fields and then click on "Add URL" button. Once you are done all you can do is to wait until your site is indexed or better start marketing your website to everyone so that people ass links referring to your website. Indexing your website by Google takes usually from 1 week up to to one month, so be patient!

A.4.20.How do I Verify my website with Google?
If you are curious to know what is a sitemap then please go here. Google has developed a tool that provides information about your added sites, Sitemaps, their latest updates, and also allows you to add new Sitemaps. In other words you can monitor the health/life of your website in Google Search Engine. It allows you also to identify crawling errors and other details. This is called Google Webmaster Tools

First you need to verify your website:
1. Go to http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/
2. Login and register your site in there
3. Choose the "upload HTML file" method when they ask you to verify your site
4. Copy the name provided by the system for later use.
5. Open Notepad or Wordpad.
6. Select "File -> Save As..."
7. At the bottom and for the file type drop-down box choose "All files *.*" instead of "Text file *.txt"
8. Paste the name of the file provided by google (the one that you copied) and add a .html to the file name. For example: "google12dsdasdgfdge.html"
9. Save the empty file somewhere on your computer. Make sure that your file is identified as an .html file
10. Go to your Google Page Creator Site Manager and upload the file to your page (help on uploading file)
11. Now normally your site should be verified.
12. As for the sitemap, you don't need to create it since Google Page Creator automatically creates a sitemap, which is available at: http://YourLoginName.googlepages.com/sitemap.xml
13. Go back to your webmasters tool account and input that url when prompted.
15. After you are done with that, you should have a "1" under sitemap, and a green "v" in the "verified?" column.
16. Now that your your website has been verified, you can start using all of the webmaster tool features.

ADDING IMAGES FROM THE WEB
If you choose to add an image from the web using the image-upload feature, you shouldn't use an image location that is hosted at someone else's expense without their permission. Sometimes this is referred to as "stealing bandwidth" because every time your page loads, the image is loaded from the other person's server, and this person likely incurs an expense.

COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS
Before you put an image in your page, realize that some images are protected as intellectual property through copyright. This means that the creator has sole legal rights to his or her works and may not want you copying and displaying them. If you're unsure whether or not an image is copyrighted, it's best not to risk it.

D. Trouble shooting

D.1. What does "Exceeded Bandwidth Limit" mean?
"Exceeded bandwidth limit" basically refers to how much traffic your site can get during a given time. While Google have a limit set on it, they don't disclose the amount at this time. If you exceed the bandwidth limit on your site, your site will come back as soon as your site's traffic has fallen below the set amount.

D.2. What is the maximum file size that I can upload?
<link to uploading file>

D.3. I changed the layout of my page, and the text disappeared. What happened?
No need to worry -- Google Page Creator has saved your text. Simply switch back to the original layout, and your text will reappear. Please note that changing from a three-field layout to a two-field layout may cause some text to disappear. But text will be saved.

D.4. I updated my page, but the old version still appears in Google. Why?
You're probably seeing the cached version of your page. If you click on the link to your live page, then you'll see the most up-to-date version. When Google robots next crawl the web, the most up-to-date version of your page will replace the old version.

D.5. I unpublished my page, but it's still in the Google search results. How come?
Even if you've unpublished a page, a cached copy of it may continue to appear in our search index. This will be the case until our robots next crawl the web. When our robots next crawl the web, they'll see that your page isn't live and our search results will change to reflect that.

D.6.Why can't I see any scroll bars or menu items?
If you're unable to see scroll bars or menu items, your screen resolution may be set too low. To resolve the problem, please set your screen resolution to 1152 X 864 or higher.
If your screen resolution is set to either 800 x 600 or 1024 X 768, the toolbar won't be fully visible.
If the above listed tips don't work, hit F11 on your keyboard.

D.7.Why is my browser crashing when I'm using Google Page Creator?
If you're using Internet Explorer (IE) 6.0 and your browser is crashing, your version of IE may be out-of-date. To download IE updates, please visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

D.8. Why aren't the changes I'm making in Google Page Creator being reflected on my googlepages.com site?
Make sure to click on the "Publish" button after you make changes; until you do, the online version of your page will remain just as it was the last time you decided to publish. Occasionally, it may take up to 30 seconds after you click "Publish" for changes to be reflected on your site but most of times it take a couple of seconds.

D.9. I accidentally closed my browser before publishing my page. Did I lose the changes I made?
No, you did not. Google Page Creator automatically saves any changes you make, so you don't ever have to worry about losing your work

Most probably you have inserted a javascript code. If you have surely inserted a javacode in your pages, then you need to delete this code. Another possibility is that a meta tag with a time refresh too low, (10 sec and less). To resolve this problem do to https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/60/ and install the Web Developer extension for Firefox and Disable Meta Redirects. Or if you are working in Internet explorer then go to "Internet option->Security Tab -> Internet Zone ->Select Custom Level-> Disable 'Allow Meta Refresh'. You still can contact google.
