an overview of recent advances in this area. Practitioners will find the
tutorial useful for understanding how technological advances can be put
to practice and learn from case studies that bring out practical challenges
in doing so. The tutorial will also inform researchers from other domains
such as social and behavioral science. They will gain an understanding
of how technology can be used to incentivize users to change their energy
usage behavior.
