RALSTON COMMUNITY COUNCIL exists for the benefit of all CFB Suffield and BATUS personnel. The council is run by members of the Community for the good and benefit of all.
The Ralston Council is a non-profit registered society that works for the general betterment of the quality of life within CFB Suffield by:
Providing a forum to identify and study community needs, co-coordinating and planning community based programs, activities and projects to meet these needs in partnership with other base organizations;
Providing a channel of communication between the MQ/SQ community and the CFB Suffield Chain of Command;
Recruiting volunteer leaders and workers as required for various community programs, activities and projects;
Raising, managing, and contributing monies for community programs, activities and projects; and
Exercising control for the custody, receipt, and maintenance of all equipment held and/or purchased with Ralston Council funds.
The Ralston Council is a community orientated representative body comprised of members residing in the Ralston Village Married Quarters (MQs), CFB Suffield Singles Quarters (SQs) and other out stations (OS) to include but not limited to Medicine Hat, Cochrane and Calgary. There is no membership fee.
