The Ralph and Eileen Swett Foundation is a small family foundation dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people in need.
The Ralph and Eileen Swett Foundation is not accepting grant requests.
Due to a limited ability to fund projects and an overwhelming amount of applications, the Ralph and Eileen Swett Foundation shifted from accepting online applications to accomplishing its mission in other ways. Previously, we were so overwhelmed with applications and our funds were so limited that each applicant's possibility of obtaining funding became unacceptably low. We realized that, at this extreme level of submissions, applicants would be better served by pursuing more fruitful sources of funding. We do not want to waste your time nor raise false hopes so we will not be accepting grant requests through the foreseeable future. However, we are truly humbled by those such as yourself who work so hard to help people in need and we wish you every success.
If you are searching for funding on behalf of yourself or an individual in need, we regret that we are not the type of Foundation that can assist you, neither now nor in the future. Our bylaws prevent us from making grants to individuals. This rule is a part of our founding charter so we are absolutely bound by it and there is no possibility for exceptions. Instead, our mission is accomplished by supporting charitable organizations (as recognized by the US government) which, in turn, support people in need. We truly hope you will find the help you need through one of those organizations.
