About the Run for Life

The Run for Life was established in Raleigh in 1994 by Mary Angelini. The goal was to help pro-life organizations raise funds and increase awareness of the sanctity of life and the many organizations available to assist women facing unplanned pregnancies. Help comes in many forms— prenatal care, life skills training, budgeting, job placement, — and can continue long after the baby is born.

To date, the Run for Life has raised over $100,000 for the following organizations:
  • Birthchoice
  • Christian Life Home
  • Project Rachael
  • Project Gabriel
  • Triangle Down Syndrome
  • Angelplace
  • Pregnancy Life Care Center
  • LifeTree, Inc.
