In 1971, Shri Prakash Chand Kochar (PC) set up Sushil Medical Stores (SMS) in Dhamtari, C.G., marking the beginning of our story. Over the years, we've grown and evolved, maintaining a strong presence in the pharmaceutical and FMCG distribution sector.

The Family Behind the Legacy

After launching SMS, PC handed over its operations to his brother and, in 1991, established Rajeev Medical Agencies (RMA) in Raipur, C.G. The torch then passed to PC's son, Shri Pankaj Kochar Jain (PK), who founded Rajeev Distributors (RD) in 2001 after the formation of Chhattisgarh.

From Gold to Pharmaceuticals

Before venturing into pharmaceuticals, PC was involved in the family's gold and silver business at Mishrilal Jasraj Kochar (MJK) in Dhamtari. Today, PC's son Rajeev Jain (RJ) contributes from the USA, exploring new opportunities for our business.

Starting with just a couple of stockistships in 1991, we've worked tirelessly, and with a touch of providence, RMA has flourished. We now manage over 50 stockistships, partnering with the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in the country. PC's leadership played a pivotal role in building trust and nurturing a strong team.

Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest-developing states in India. The state was formed on 1 November 2000 by partitioning 10 Chhattisgarhi and 6 Gondi speaking southeastern districts of Madhya Pradesh. The capital city is Raipur. Chhattisgarh is the 10th largest state in terms of geographical area, the third largest in terms of forest area and has the second largest mineral reserves. Chhattisgarh borders the states of Madhya Pradesh in the northwest, Maharashtra in the southwest, Andhra Pradesh (East Godavari District) in the south, Telangana .The state has a population of 26 million, more than three-quarters of whom live in rural and remote areas. The population density is 189 people per kilometre lower than the national density rate of 382 per sq km, making it one of least densely populated states in India, ranking 26th.

We have worked in all the 27 districts contained in 5 Divisions. Our work involved with coordinating with a variety of businesses, we have good relations with customers, and we understand the logistics/supply-chain of the region very well.

As clear from the map above, Raipur is the heart of Chhattisgarh and it is well connected by rail, road, airways with all major cities.

Naya Raipur (Upcoming Smart City) with International Cricket Stadium, AIIMS, Cancer Research Hospital, IIIT, IIM, and several other initiatives have made Raipur a hub of central India.

We prefer to provide the fastest and if possible the next day delivery to the following areas – Bilaspur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Dhamtari, Jagdalpur etc. Often it takes 3-day delivery for Raigarh, Ambikapur, Baikunthpur, Manendragarh etc. Entire state is within a max. of 3-day delivery.

Our fully equiped and very spaciacious 4 storey warehouse is located at the “Pharma Logistics Park” or "Aushadhi Vatika" as in name & style of “Jain Towers” in Dumartarai, Raipur.

This facility has board room for meetings & is equipped with facilities like goods elevator, meeting rooms, modern laptops, computers connected via LAN, internet, projector, AC etc.

We also have our administrative office in this facility.
