The first  RAiSE Parent Network (RPN) meeting of the 2015-16 school year is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 7:00-9:00 PM in the Community Room of the at the La Grange Park Library.  This meeting offers parents  a chance to network with other parents of children with physical, mental, emotional, or learning challenges.  During our meeting we will explore potential difficulties our children face interacting with peers and what we, as parents, can do to help. Topics may include navigating interactions at home, in the classroom, at recess, and in the lunchroom, as well as the complexities and effects of bullying.

The RPN offers parents the opportunity to support other parents in a safe and confidential setting. Together we will explore problems and solutions, and share resources and ideas. The discussion will be moderated by Teresa Fitzgerald, LMFT, a former district parent and a member of RAiSE.

Note: This is a meeting for parents/guardians only.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, October 13 at the La Grange Park Library.

Note: Cancellations will be announced via email.
