Most of you are probably aware of LADSE, the LaGrange Area Department of Special Education, a cooperative formed by districts in our area to combine resources in order to provide a comprehensive system of services for children with disabilities. Some of you may also have wondered, "but what does LADSE do for me?". Did you know that if your child receives Speech Services, Occupational Therapy, and/or Physical Therapy through the District, they are receiving a service from LADSE?
On Tuesday, October 11 at 7:00 PM in the Park Jr. High LRC we are hosting two speakers from LADSE: Dr. Susan Gallagher, Ph.D. and Debra Hurley-Bularzik, MA, will speak to us about the many programs and services provided by the special education cooperative to school districts. The presentation will also include information regarding the many additional resources offered by LADSE.
The presentation will be followed by time for networking and discussion. All parents, teachers, and community members are invited to attend.
