Identifying and Addressing Speech and Language Challenges in Students

On Tuesday, February 2, 2016, we are hosting a presentation on speech and language challenges in students by Kathryn Curley, M.A., CCC-SLP. Ms. Curley will discuss the typical development of speech and language skills during primary school years and red flags that intervention may be needed. Social language skills, the impact language disorders have on learning, and the relationship between language and literacy will also be discussed. Join us at 7:00PM in the LRC at Park Jr. High School (333 N. Park Rd., La Grange Park, IL).

Kathryn Curley holds a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She specializes in pediatrics and currently practices at The Pediatric Place in La Grange, Illinois.
