On March 11th, RAiSE will host Tom Canale, CLU, CFP, for a presentation about creating financial security for a loved one with special needs.  Establishing a comprehensive financial plan can be complex, particularly when there are unknowns, including the ability of a loved one to live independently in the future.  Mr. Canale’s presentation will include a discussion about available resources, eligibility for government benefits, estate and income tax planning, and insurance and investment considerations.   Kris Ponta from Community Support Services, a non-profit organization in Brookfield, will join in the presentation to briefly discuss the process of qualifying for, and receiving services supported by, government benefits.

Mr. Canale began his career as a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual in 1995 with The McTigue Financial Group in Chicago, Illinois, after obtaining an undergraduate degree from Marquette University.  He is currently a member of Northwestern Mutual’s Special Steps program and has his CLU and CHFC designations, along with his CFP® certification.

All parents, teachers, and community members are invited to attend this meeting on Tuesday, March 11, at 7:00 PM in the Park Jr. High LRC, 333 N. Park in LaGrange Park, IL 60526
