The KCCA Summer Quickplay Handicap is split into 4 groups of teams. Rainham have been drawn in group "B" along with Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Eynsford and Tunbridge Wells. The group stage is to be completed by Monday 12th September 2016 when each group winner will qualify for the knock-out stage.

T Wells v Rainham
A difficult start to our campaign with an away loss to the runaway leaders of the group. Martin Taylor racked up two wins & two draws for 3/4, Dave Barnes recorded two wins for 2/4, Andy Waters a solitary win for 1/4 and Rob Springett a lone draw for 0.5/4.
Rainham v Eynsford
After a drawn first round Rainham ran away with this match having secured victory with a round to spare. Scores were Martin Taylor 4/4, Omar Ahmed 3/4, Dave Barnes 2.5/4 and Tom Stonehouse 2/4.
Rainham v Maidstone
After recording a 4-0 victory in the opening round this set the tone for the evening. A draw second round then followed by two 3-1 wins to end the evening winning 12-4. Scores were Martin Taylor 4/4, Tom Stonehouse 2/4, Steve Pike 2/4 and Omar Ahmed 4/4.
Sevenoaks v Rainham
In rounds one and four the honours were even, we narrowly lost round two 2.5-1.5 but decisively won round three 4-0 to secure a comfortable victory. Scores were Martin Taylor 3/4, Andy Waters 2/4, Omar Ahmed 2.5/4 and Rob Springett 2/4. The result means we finish as runners-up in the group although we won more game points than Tunbridge Wells.
