I am an Assistant Professor in the Facultad de Matemáticas at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC).

Generally speaking, I am drawn toward problems connecting ideas from dynamical systems and statistical mechanics with combinatorics.

I arrived to UC as a Postdoctoral Researcher, hosted by Godofredo Iommi. Before joining UC, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Tel Aviv University, hosted by Asaf Nachmias and Ron Peled. Prior to that, I completed my PhD in the Department of Mathematics at the University of British Columbia, under the supervision of Brian Marcus. In Spring 2016 I was a visiting graduate student in the Counting Complexity and Phase Transitions program organized by the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at UC Berkeley. I did my undergraduate studies in the Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas and Departmento de Ingeniería Matemática at Universidad de Chile.

Currently, I am the coordinator of the Dynamical Systems' Seminar of Santiago. If you are interested in giving a talk or announcing an event, please contact me by email.
