“Raider Raspberry Jam”
Project REAL to host a conference on the $35 computer
Project REAL in partnership with Allen University and IT-ology will host the “Raider Raspberry Jam”. The event brings students, teachers, makers, hobbyist, and those just curious together to learn more about the $35 Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized computer that plugs into your TV, just add a keyboard and a mouse. It is a capable little computer which can be used in electronics projects, and for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word processing, browsing the internet, and playing games.
The Raider Raspberry Jam will be held November 5, 2016 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. W.J. Keenan is located at 361 Pisgah Church Rd. Columbia, SC 29203. For my information you can contact KaReem Beckett at 803-714-2496. Some equipment will be provided and attendees are welcome to bring their personal Raspberry Pi’s.
