    Cedar GREEN

    Mission Statement 

    “Cedar GREEN along with the Recycling Raiders, FAC Students, Raiders in Action, Student Council Members, National Honor Society Members and student/parent volunteers will reduce the amount of waste by recycling paper, plastic, and aluminum.  This will keep the campus, gymnasiums, athletic fields and stadium beautiful.”


    Parent Volunteers must complete the RRISD online registration annually.  (It only takes 5 minutes.)


    Service Hours Opportunities


    **  Listen for weekly Cedar GREEN volunteer opportunities during the Morning Announcements  **



    There are recycling bins inside the café and outside on the courtyard for EMPTY cans and bottles.  Please finish your drink or pour the liquid onto the grass or down the nearest drain before placing it in the recycle bin.  

    **  Please - NO Cups, No Straws, No Plastic Bags, No Bowls, No Yogurt Tubs, No Trash.**


    Campus Wide Paper Recycling

    The FAC students and maintenance staff will collect paper from the classrooms for the Abitibi dumpster in the student parking lot.  Please bring clean recycling paper from home for the Abitibi dumpster also. The proceeds benefit the FAC program.


    Household Hazardous Waste Collection – 1st Weds of each month 4pm to 6pm



    Cost:  Free; however, you must present your City of Round Rock utility bill and driver's license(Please note that having a Round Rock address does not automatically mean that you are a City of Round Rock Water Utility customer that pays City of Round Rock taxes.)
