I am a cyber security enthusiast and an experienced researcher with a background in the field of IoT services delivery edge/cloud computing and cybersecurity. I have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Sciences majoring in cyber security, SDN, and edge/cloud computing. I have experience on various projects involving real-world cybersecurity problem solving conducted in collaboration with Victoria Univesity, Australia, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia, and Information Technology University, Pakistan.
I have extensive experience and expertise in scientific writing/publishing, organizational leadership, project/data management, college/university-level teaching (Calculus, Programming, Algorithms, Network Security, Artificial Intelligence), network simulations (iFogSim, EdgeCloudSim, Mininet), software development (python, java, c++).
Currently, I am associated with the Univesity of Montreal as a Postdoc Research Fellow where I am working on an IoT services orchestration project using SDN, Information-Centric Networking, and Edge computing. This project involves seamless services delivery using IoT from service providers to service consumers. Furthermore, I am working on novel algorithms, techniques, and frameworks development for IoT services delivery.
Ultimately, I want to develop solutions to help solve societal problems and ensure top-level communication of scientific research to the non-science community (governments, citizens, policymakers).
