What Is Radon?
Radon is a naturally occurring gas that causes lung cancer in humans.  It is a by-product of the breakdown of uranium, which is found throughout the earth's crust.  Radon comes up through the soil.

Should I Have My House Tested?
Yes. Buildings are constructed in such a way that they essentially "vacuum" radon in.  So elevated levels of radon in homes are a human caused phenomenon.  The EPA estimates that nearly 1 out of every 15 homes in the United States may have elevated radon levels.  This ratio varies across the nation. In the Billings area we have found that about 1 out of every 8 homes have elevated radon levels.  You can trust a certified specialist to do so for you.

What Can I Do If My House Has Elevated Radon Levels?
We can design and install a radon reduction system. The typical cost is between $985.00 and $1,500.  Identify Your Needs for a radon system.

Be sure to check out our map in "Radon Map" and see if we have helped anyone near you to reduce their exposure to radon!
