Read, Write, Think This site is from the National Council on Teaching English and the International Reading Association. It has a wealth of material primarily for American classrooms. But, much of it can be adapted for the ESL classroom.

Scholastic This site has thousands of lesson plans and activities. One very nice feature is current articles geared toward language arts skills. There are many printables - some are free and some require a subscription.
