Broadly speaking, I'm interested in language, knowledge, and power. In order to better understand how such forces work, I try to bring insights from feminist and critical theory into more robust conversation with analytic philosophy of language and epistemology.

Service and Public Philosophy
I see philosophy as a practice that rewards active collaboration and community-building, both inside and outside the academy. Since 2009 I have worked with Brooklyn Public Philosophers, the New York Society for Women in Philosophy, MAP, and PIKSI-Boston to develop spaces that bring new voices into the philosophical conversation.

Outside of Philosophy
I love dogs, farmers' markets, street food, tarot, naps, yoga, hoppy beers, and exploring Boston.
