Zoie Stubleski & Kelsie Cousino are young girls from Erie, Michigan who are fighting battles that many might not know about. Zoie is 5 years old and the daughter of Doyle & Tara Stubleski and Kelsie is 18 months old and the daughter of Andy and Jackie Cousino. At only 6 months old, Zoie was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and received a life saving treatment. She has an autoimmune deficiency in which she continues to receive a life saving treatment every 4 weeks at A Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, St. Vincent’s Mercy Children’s Hospital. Kelsie has a rare genetic disorder called Williams Syndrome. Williams Syndrome affects only about 20,000 people in the United States. Kelsie has developed aneurysms in her pulmonary arteries and will eventually need a reconstructive surgery of her pulmonary arteries that only the doctors at the #1 Boston Children’s Hospital are willing to do. These girls are always happy and smiling big smiles that will brighten anyone’s day!
