We do reserve the right to check all coolers going on our boats and in our vans. Anyone who we consider impaired will be escorted out of the canoes or vans and returned to the meeting point. Any customers who are impaired and cause us problems will be given a free ride by the Ashtabula Deputy Sheriff or the Lake County Deputy Sheriff.
Do you accept credit cards?
We are not accepting any credit or debit cards this time of year. .
What are the water conditions?
Water conditions change daily. Each section of the river may have different conditions. The upper sections of the Grand River hold water at deeper depths. The gorge sections of the river from Mechanicsville Road Covered Bridge to Harpersfield Dam will hold water levels longer than from Harpersfield downstream. Check our color coded river sections for current conditions of the most popular trips. As water conditions change so too will the color codes. We can not predict what conditions will be more than two days out. Even then, with rainfall the conditions will change.
Do you require reservations?
Reservations are not required. All customers who make reservations get first priority on the canoes, kayaks, and transports. If you show up as a walk in customer, the customers with reservations will be serviced first. If we are out of space for that time slot, those customers without reservations will be bumped to the next available slot with space. Walk in customers are on a first come first serve basis with reservation customers going first. Our reservation line is 440-466-7414.

Week days start at 9:00 am then every hour on the hour with last boat on the water at 1:00 pm. All craft must be off the river by 5:30 pm or a late fee of $25.00 per craft not at the designated take out per hour or part of an hour will be charged.
