Welcome

Welcome to our website.  First a disclaimer - this website is a "work in progress" and at this point is far from finished. Betta is putting it together on her own, and finding time to work on it is difficult. So check back periodically, or if you are interested in a dog that has not had its page finished yet, contact us directly for pictures or information. Because the amount of space on this site is limited, we have put links to photo albums that are on Facebook. They are public links, so you can view the albums even if you are not a member of Facebook.

We are proud to introduce you to our dogs and show you what they can do!  We strive to breed sound dogs with correct conformation, while retaining hunting instincts, athleticism, biddability, stable temperaments, and good health. Our dogs are also our companions and pets. They share our house and sleep on the bed.  We routinely participate in conformation showing, hunt tests, shooting and retrieving ratings, obedience and rally. We have enjoyed agility in the past, and hope to do that again when time permits.

We are members of the Tarheel Weimaraner Club (Betta is on the board)  http://ncweimaraner.org/

and the Weimaraner Club of America (Betta is currently on the Health Committee).  http://www.weimclubamerica.org/index.html

Betta is also a member of the Sandhills Pointing Breeds Club. This is an all-breed club whose mission is to promote the natural hunting instincts of AKC recognized pointing breeds by providing amateur trainers/handlers with training facilities, training partners, field events, as well as to opportunities for members to learn how to train and handle dogs in AKC hunt tests.

We are recognized as AKC Breeders of Merit. We have finished multiple Weims exclusively from the Bred By Exhibitor classes, and are working on our 3rd generation of Champion Master Hunters.
