comedic shorts takes you on a relationship ride through young love, seasoned
love, and yes, love among the undead. Each script is ribbed for pleasure (both

The Flower Shop Project was formed in 2004 with a
mission to create and produce new works of theatre that are smart, ballsy and
fundamentally entertaining. Over the years, they’ve produced 13 short and
full length shows including fan favorites Ladies A.I.D., Attack of the
Atomic Trash Monster’s Bride and Preferred
by Discreet Women Everywhere. They’ve just completed their first full
season, selling out the BLB all year with 9x9x9, Dawn’s Inferno: A Divine Comedy and In the
Mad Munchkin Productions Presents:
Love Bites: Boy meets girl.
Girl falls in love with boy.
Zombies attack. A new
collaboratively written work by Cameron Hager, Ted Hansen, Alan Pagel, and Laura Wilhelm. Co-directed by Alan Pagel and Cameron Hager.
Co-founded by Laura Wilhelm and Alan Pagel, Mad Munchkin Productions has been
collaboratively creating works of imagination and imagery since 2005, drawing
other like minds into their Munchkin plans!
In addition, the pair designs and constructs scenery, props, puppets,
and masks for their own company and companies across the nation. FREAKS
OUT! and Stimulate THIS, graced the
stage to critical acclaim during the ‘06 and ’08 MN Fringe Festivals (respectively),
and The Crooked Man has been produced
in three venues including an Artist in Residency in KS. They are pleased to be part of the Quickies
and their first show without a puppet!

In this homage to Love
Letters, an actor
and actress read the hilarious and touching Post-It notes between
a couple that span the duration of their lives together. Written by Paul Dooley and Winnie Holzman. Directed
by Damon Runnals
Swandive Theatre was started in 2005 and this is
their third year working on Quickies. Unique in the Twin Cites because of it's
artistic company Swandive's mission is to create a community or artists who
produce selfless, thought-provoking theatre in a challenging, collaborative
environment. Next up is their holiday show, Almost, Maine at the Red Eye Theatre
