PreConference Workshop for
Doctoral Students and New Faculty
The Queer Studies SIG is offering a pre-conference workshop to support young scholars interested in queer or LGBTQ research. The workshop will be led by Lance McCready and Therese Quinn. It will focus on community-based research and activism. The workshop will have a panel presentation as well as interactive time for participants to discuss their research and stressors with panelists and SIG leaders
When: Thursday April 16, 2015
Time: 8:30 – 12 (with an optional lunch following)
Please send a one-page letter to Sandra Schmidt. Indicate your current research project(s), how the workshop might benefit you, and questions you want to bring to the workshop.
