 The 2350 were also used for export coal traffic on the Moura and Blackwater lines, as well as some general freight work. In the late 80's, they became surplus due to the electrification, and were transferred to TasRail to become their ZB class. 
 Sixteen 2350 and 2370 class locomotives were built from 1973 for the Queensland Railways. Following mainline electrification in Queensland the locomotives became surplus to requirements and were sold to AN and shipped to Tasmania in 1987 and 1988.

January 1974 and 2358 sets back at Yeerongpilly with a ballast train. Not a real success were the 2350 class, they rode badly, slipped on dry rail and had a high failure rate.
