A little southern drawl...a lot of New York attitude.
I was Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in the South. I grew up listening to The Rat Pack, The Beatles, and Johnny Cash. My girls are Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Partin, Lucinda Williams & Sheryl Crow. My songwriting heroes include Hoagy Carmichael, Johnny Mercer, Karla Bonoff, Nanci Griffith, John Prine, Billy Joel, Willie Nelson, Carole King, Elton John & Leonard Cohen. In recent years I've been inspired by Norah Jones, Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, Dawes, Amos Lee & Ed Sheeran.
Writing positive, thoughtful and sometimes quirky songs is my bliss. I sincerely hope you are touched by my music. Thank you for listening.
I'm sharing my survivor story & my song.

My sincere gratitude to Chip Martin & Derek Mixon for donating their time & talent to the cause. You guys rock!MUSIC
SOMEONE'S ALWAYS LEAVING
A slight departure from her previous releases, a little less country and a little more heartland. The title cut reflects the recurrent theme of this album, but there is also a tender song about the positive outcome of teen pregnancy, a quirky love song about life with "You & My Dog" and a nostalgic ride in a "1964 Chevrolet".
