Xiao-Feng Shi
I am currently a professor of physics in Hainan University, Haikou, China, working on theoretical problems related with quantum computation and information based on atomic, molecular, and optical systems. I obtained Ph.D. from Fudan, China in 2011, did postdoc in UCSD and GaTech before becoming a faculty member of Xidian University in 2016. In 2024, I moved to the current institute.
I am currently interested in quantum control over atomic and molecular systems, including neutral atoms. I am particularly interested in doing research intimately related to practical applicability. I found gazing the beauty of the physical world on the quantum level is such a joyful thing, which I would like to continue to do.
