We received our Charter (007988) on March 15, 1969, sponsored by the Nanaimo Lions Club. Since then we have been involved in many community, regional, national and international projects.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 pm. We go into recess for the summer months.

Mission Statement of Lions Club International

We are part of Lions Clubs International in Multiple District 19, which includes clubs in British Columbia, Washington, and Northern Idaho. We are in District "I" which encompasses Vancouver Island BC and the Olympic Peninsula in WA. We are in Zone 8 which also includes: Baynes Sound, Comox Valley, Comox Valley Monarchs and Royston-Cumberland Lions Clubs.

Special Event .  SILENT AUCTION

A Silent Auction will be held on June 9 2019 at the Second Sunday market in the Lighthouse Community Hall . Please do come and make a bid and if you possibly can donate some goods for us to auction off , please do contact , Rodger Nissen at 250 757 2048

Please note that we are doing the concessions at the ball games listed above. Please come out and support your team and have a feast at the same time. See you at the ball game .  


This Raffle was held in May , June , July and August 2018 and raised $4,215.00 for the kids to enjoy a hot lunch at the Bowser Elementary School .

market in the Lighthouse Community Hall . We will cook you a breakfast that is so special that even Will and Kate would love to bring the kids there , they can't , but you can

Baseball Events 2019

Several local clubs will be playing starting in April 2019. We will post the dates and game times at the left of this column as soon as we receive them .
The Qualicum Bay Lions will be doing the concessions at the games so please do come out to cheer for your team and enjoy the best value hot dogs and hamburgers on Vancouver Island . We will also be serving excellent fries as well as  a cheese bunwich .
Tea , coffee , Pop will be available to wash it all down.
Excellent food at excellent prices.

        Meat Draws

Every Sunday the Qualicum Bay Lions have a meat draw to support the Qualicum Bay , and Deep Bay community activites. This draw is held at the Crown and Anchor Roadhouse Pub community ball games and you can see the times and dates below.Roadhouse pub on the old highway and begins at about 3:30 pm with the Jam Session . 

All of the funds from the meat draws stay in our community, for example the Bowser School hot lunches , the Food Bank and local community members who have a need. 

Please do help us to fulfil our obligations to the community.
