We received our Charter (007988) on March 15, 1969, sponsored by the Nanaimo Lions Club. Since then we have been involved in many community, regional, national and international projects.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 pm. We go into recess for the summer months.

Mission Statement of Lions Club International
To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary service through community involvement and international co-operation.

We are part of Lions Clubs International in Multiple District 19, which includes clubs in British Columbia, Washington, and Northern Idaho. We are in District "I" which encompasses Vancouver Island BC and the Olympic Peninsula in WA. We are in Zone 8 which also includes: Baynes Sound, Comox Valley, Comox Valley Monarchs and Royston-Cumberland Lions Clubs.

Special Event .  SILENT AUCTION

The Silent Auction on June 10 2018 raised over $2,100.00 which will go into the community for worthy causes.

Starting on May 16 2018 the Qualicum Bay Lions Club will be selling Raffle tickets to support the Bowser Elementary School Hot Lunches . This is such a worthy cause that the Lions decided to Raffle 3 wood carvings of Eagles for 1st 2nd and 3 rd prizes.  The carvings were crafted by Oscar Moria of Qualicum Bay and graciously donated to the Qualicum Bay Lions for the Hot Lunch raffle . The tickets are $2.00 each and will be drawn during the Fall Fair outside the Lions Den at 3:00 pm.
You will be able to purchase your tickets most Fridays and Saturdays  outside Tomms Food Village , Georgia Park Store as well as the Magnolia Court Wednesday markets from 5 pm to 7 pm . The Fathers Day show and shine on June 17 th in Qualicum Beach from 8 am to 2 pm or from any Lions member. Please do help us feed the children . Thank you so much.

Pancake Breakfasts

On Sunday October 14 th the Qualicum Bay Lions will be cooking the Pancake Breakfast at the second Sunday
market in the Lighthouse Community Hall . We will cook you a breakfast that is so special that even Harry and Meghan wish they could be there. They will not be able , but you can.
Thank you in advance for coming out and supporting us on these  special days.

Baseball Events 2018

Several local clubs will be playing starting in May. We have posted the dates and game times at the left of this column .
The Qualicum Bay Lions will be doing the concessions at the games so please do come out to cheer for your team and enjoy the best value hot dogs and hamburgers on Vancouver Island . We will also be serving excellent fries as well as  a cheese bunwich .
Excellent food at excellent prices.

        Meat Draws

Every Sunday there is a meat draw to support the Qualicum Bay Lions community activites. This draw is held at the Crown and Anchor the community ball games and you can see the times and dates below.Roadhouse pub on the old highway and begins at about 3:30 pm with the Jam Session . 

All of the funds from the meat draws stay in our community, for example the Bowser School hot lunches , the Food Bank and local community members who have a need. 

Please do help us to fulfil our obligations to the community.
