Post-doctoral Fellow Recruitment

Position 1: Translational Neuroimaging

Fudan University is one of the leading institutions in China for higher-education and scientific research. The Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-inspired Intelligence (ISTBI) is a recently established centre at Fudan University that provides an interdisciplinary platform for cutting-edge research in brain sciences. We are recruiting Post-doctoral Fellows with a background in Cognitive Neurosciences, Computational Psychiatry, or Imaging Genetics to join our team. A potential project is about the aversive learning and its implications in psychiatric disorders. Within ISTBI, the Centre for Biomedical Imaging is home to the world's most advanced MRI instruments including an ultra-high-field 7T Siemens Terra MR scanner, a Siemens 3T Connectome MR scanner, three Siemens 3T Megnetom Prisma MR scanners, and a Bruker 11.7T Biospec MR Scanner.

Job responsibilities

Running neuroimaging-based cognitive studies on healthy brain processing and brain disorders, conducting cognitive assessments in a population cohort, collecting and analyzing neuroimaging, cognitive, behavioral and genetic data.

Requirements

1. PhD degree in cognitive neurosciences, behavioral neurosciences, psychology, neurobiology, computational neurosciences, clinical neurosciences, neuroimaging, or related areas.
2. Minimum of one first-author publication in an international scientific journal.
3. Fluency in oral/written English and excellent communication skills.
4. Strong team-spirit and ability to work independently.
5. Maximum age limit is generally 35.

Salary and Welfare

• Salary: RMB 300,000-400,000 yuan (before tax).
