• Multi-scale integrative approach for population neuroscience. -- Adolescent brain development and its implications for health

• Granger causality with signal-dependent noise. --Causal structure estimated from time series data 

• Systems Biology -- Sequence analysis, genetic regulatory network, protein specificity

• Evolutionary algorithms -- Genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization
