Quantum Informatics / Interaction

The main Quantum Interaction site is taking shape at quantuminteraction.org. Please check back regularly for updates!

Quantum Information Science, or just Quantum Informatics, is an emerging discipline in artificial intelligence combining mathematics, physics, cognitive and computer sciences. Quantum informatics uses insights, techniques, and models developed in quantum physics and applies them in new areas of informatics.

The name Quantum Interaction is also used, to signify that this group is studying the interaction between quantum mechanics and other fields of study, in terms of shared models and methods.

Applications of quantum informatics have so far included organizational dynamics, economics, information retrieval, linguistics, and biomedical informatics.
