Qingqing Zhou
Senior Software Engineer & Product Manager
Senior Software Engineer
As a developer, it's common to stuck in a catch-22 situation sometimes. Take a deep breath and read some engineering jokes could really save me from a infinite loop. If you don't believe me, read this:
I have always wished for my computer to be as easy to use as my cell phone. My wish has come true because I can no longer figure out how to use my cell phone.
If you want to borrow $1000 from a software developer, he might give you $24 more just to make an even amount.
"Press any key to continue" ... But, where is "Any" key?
Basically, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. I'm totally a challenge-driven person.
I enjoy working with people to tackle issues, embrace challenges and research on future technologies. Either working towards a solution or struggling about the next step... As long as there's a challenge, I'm in.
Now you might know me a little better than one minute ago. Allow me to use some fancy words on myself:
I am a positive, optimistic and challenge friendly person. I like being called as "Woman in Engineering".
Proud to be part of the "Women In Science and Engineering #30in30#“ event
Most of the time, I'm the only one female developer in a meeting. My goal is to make my voice heard and advocate a female friendly work place in a software industry. After work, I devote most of my time in kids coding education. My 9 year-old son said, "mom, you're the best teacher! I love coding!" At that moment, for all the efforts and time that I have been putting in, I know it's well worth it.
