I told you I knew a bit about electronics :P
Hi guys, it know its been a long time. I know that I have not updated the site in ages and is due to 3 things.
1. A change of jobs (which resulted in me having to do a lot of training).
2. George RR Martin, I saw A Game of Thrones on HBO which got me reading the books (I'm almost done A Clash of Kings).
3. Summer + Motorcycles. That's right I got a great bike, which was in great shape but was in storage for a while so it needed a bit of work.
This leads me to ask for some HELP !!!. You see I did a write-up on a MAJOR electrical problem on my bike that could have caused me a lot of problems if I didn't catch it. Read all about it "Viper Security System Fail".
Once Winter comes around again I plan on doing more work on the site. Being away for a little while is starting to give me the itch to continue work on the site. It's just the open road that is calling me.
H took the time to let me know that one of my comments was wrong on quite a few pages:
So, if I tell you guys that I've been busy around the site you will probably think I'm pulling your leg. Well, I have been, I've been bug-hunting, looking over the example code and fixing some errors (I have a bad habit of adding an 's' to <avr/interrupt.h> amongst other things). If you guys find any problems with the example code please let me know. Somethings things get messed up between revisions.
I've also been busy working making flow charts for the tutorials, check out the ATmega8 - Timers Tutorial which has the pleasure of having the first flowchart.
Oh, and tanks again to Hack a Day for linking to my PLC hardware tutorial, I love you guys.
Well I have completed the writeup of my PLC projects, Feel Free to check it out.
OK, so I feel bad about not having an update for a while. So I added a teaser of one of my projects to the site. My PLC project. I should be done the writeup in the next few days. For now This is just the teaster.
P.S. No this is not my current active project, that one is ... well giving me a few challenges ATM.
Wow it has been 2 weeks since my last update. Well the big reason for that is the weather. It's finally gotten nice and warm so I've been doing some spring cleaning. And been enjoying the woods.
I have spent a little time on a personal project. Hopefully I will have enough done by the end of the month in order to post the details.
I just finished my last day of the work week. That means tomorrow I will be getting down to some tutorial writing. My writing process so far has been to spend a day on a tutorial (it usually takes me 8 hours to write one) and then clean it up the following morning (after a bit of rest) and post it.
The next 2 tutorials that I hope to finish is the Analog Comparator tutorials so hopefully, I will have 2 tutorials done within the next 3 days.
Secondly, the little ad on the side has earned me 2 bucks, .. that's right score. That means that I could now buy a $2 component and write a tutorial about it ... well once I make 8 more bucks to cover the shipping costs =P.
About 100 people visit the site daily, thanks for visiting and, I hope that my tutorials are helping some people out.
