Welcome to Quad Cities Urban Gardening.  A new community started in December 2012. We promote urban gardening, sustainable agriculture, local food, organic/heirloom seeds and seed saving in the Quad Cities.
 
We promote the use of non-GMO seeds and the tradition of passing down seeds to the Quad Cities community.

We want to empower people to grow and cook quality produce in their own yards or balconies.

Throughout the year, we will host seed and plant exchanges, offer educational workshops and plan field trips to local farms and other urban gardens.

There are other groups in the area that we would like to work with that provide excellent resources to the Quad Cities in regards to local foods or community gardens.
